About Our Lodging And Accomodations

Established in 1973, Glacier Bear Lodge has been a part of the local community and has continuously provided a home-away-from-home for those traveling to Yakutat, Alaska.

Centrally located between the Yakutat Airport and town, Glacier Bear Lodge has year in and year out provided the best lodging and dining accommodations in the area.

Private Rooms

Glacier Bear Lodge has 31 comfortable rooms available, and all of the rooms have two double beds, one rollaway bed, and a private bathroom.

Glacier Bear lodge is dedicated to making your stay with us a rewarding Alaskan experience. Our dining room offers continental breadfast, lunch and dinner, featuring Alaskan Seafood, homemade soups, breads, and desserts. A large-screen television is located in the lounge and pay phones are available at both entries of the main lodge building.
